Traditional Chocolate Chip Cookies are transformed with the peanut butter taste of Reese’s Pieces.

Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter or margarine
- 1 cup butter-flavored Crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 (4 ounce) package of Reese’s Pieces
Directions
- Cream together shortenings and sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
- Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
- Stir into butter/sugar mixture and mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on baking sheet.
- Place 3-4 Reese’s Pieces on top of each cookie.
- Bake in 350°F oven for 12-13 minutes.
Note: Keep the cookie dough in the refrigerator in between batches.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies, 3″ diameter.
